This feature is used to adjust the student's need between payment periods/terms in a BBAY when there are one term awards and/or adjustments to COA which cause some terms Need to be negative and others positive but the net need is positive over the academic year. To make this change, access the student's record in Regent 8Award, select the Awards tab and click on the Adjust Need icon.

Once you open the wizard, select the Academic year to be adjusted. The system will present you with the recommended adjustment to clear the negative unmet need. You can make additional changes and then click on the Continue icon.

Review the changes to the student's awards and then click Finish. The changes that you made will be reflected on the Award tab.
