Data Model

The entities in the Regent Award Data View Data Model share a similar naming convention to the entities in the actual Regent Award Data Model. 

We have used the actual entity names in the ERD Diagram below. Understanding which data view the entity corresponds too should be straighforwardstraightforward. 

For example

  • The entity 'AcademicPlan' describes the type of attributes and relationships you will see in the [dbo].[dataExtract_AcademicPlan_View_v001] table
  • The entity 'AcademicYear' describes the type of attributes and relationships you will see in the [dbo].[dataExtract_AcademicYear_View_v001] table

This is a version 001 Conceptual Overview of core Academic Structure and Awarding entities.
