Overview
The system has been improved to Based on configuration in the Enrollment Options section in Program Setup > General Tab, Regent Award can anticipate future terms using the number of units in the based on a current term’s registration. When using this functionality, the Academic Plan anticipation will more closely reflect students' typical enrollment patterns when using this new functionality. Regent will anticipate future term enrollment based on the actual units of the latest (furthest into the future) registered term with Actual registration, rather than on the configured Anticipated units. The number of units used for future anticipation will continue to adjust with changes in student registration until the first Title IV award is disbursed for the current term. A new configuration area has been added to Program Setup > General Tab called Enrollment Options (new section). The units will again begin to adjust when the next term has Actual registration.

Enable Enrollment Anticipation
If this box is checked, anticipated units for future terms are anticipated using current term’s registered units. This setting does not apply to Subscription Period Programs.
Maximum Enrollment Threshold
The minimum enrollment level allowed for future term anticipation. If the current term’s enrollment level is below the selected level from the dropdown list, anticipation for future terms will be at the configured level (enrollment level setup). This setting does not apply to Subscription Period Programs.
General Functionality
These settings only apply to terms used for anticipation.
Once a term (current or future) has an Actual enrollment level established on the academic plan, the anticipated units for all future terms will update to that same actual level.
Units will continue to adjust for future terms until the first Title IV disbursement in the current term.
At the time of the first Title IV disbursement of the current term, the anticipated units for future terms will remain unchanged until the enrollment for the next term becomes actual.
If the student's enrollment has not yet become actual for the first term in the program, the current settings from program setup in conjunction with enrollment level setup/anticipated enrollment, will be used to anticipate until the enrollment becomes actual.
If the enrollment level in the current term is less than the Minimum Enrollment Threshold selection, the Minimum Enrollment Threshold selection must be used to to anticipate the remainder of the student's academic plan. The anticipated units for future terms will be determined using Enrollment Level setup/Anticipated Enrollment setup.
An ALE Activity Log Entry will be added once the anticipated enrollment status and units are determined for future terms.
Additional ALEs Activity Log Entries will generate only when the number of anticipated units change for future terms.
If a user changes anticipated units for a term(s) using Advanced MAP, these entries take precedence over the configured information and logic for projecting Anticipated Units.
The Minimum Enrollment Threshold only applies for instances where the student has enough units left in the program to anticipate the specified number of units.. If at the end of their program and the student does have enough units to anticipate the specified enrollment level, the system will only anticipate the remaining units left to complete the program.
