Reconciliation (G5)
Managing Cash
From the Process bar, click on G5. Then select the Federal Award Year and fund that you want to review. This page shows you the cash drawdowns and the booked and unbooked COD transactions so as to assist you in managing your cash on hand for the fund. Use the add bottom to record receipts and returns of cash from and to G5.
Reconciling Direct Loans Using DL Tools
If you have not already done so, go to fsa download to download and install DL Tools on your PC. You then need to request and download the SAS file from COD for the Federal award year to be reconciled. The next step is to go to the Processes bar, select Download Processes and then run the processes to download the DLEXCASH, DLEXLOAN and DLEXDISB files for the Federal award year to be reconciled. Load the SAS, DLEXCASH, DLEXLOAN and DLEXDISB files into DL Tools and then reconcile the cash and disbursements in DL Tools and make the appropriate changes in the system and/or COD on the Web.
Reconciling TEACH Using DL Tools
If you have not already done so, go to fsadownload to download and install DL Tools on your PC. Load the SAS, DLEXCASH, DLEXLOAN and DLEXDISB files into DL Tools and then reconcile the cash and disbursements in DL Tools and make the appropriate changes in the system and/or COD on the Web.
Reconciling Pell Grant
From the Reports bar, click the Pell Reconciliation report and run the report for the Federal Award Year that you wish to reconcile. This report will compare the "COD YTD" disbursements per COD to the "Amount Disbursed" in the system and identify any discrepancies between the two.
Cash can be reconciled by download the DLEXCASH files for the Federal award year to be reconciled and then comparing it with the information in G5 and or COD.
