Verification
The Department of Education requires selected students to undergo a process to ensure that the information submitted on their FAFSA application is accurate. Students selected for verification will have a flag on their ISIR record indicating that they must complete this process. The verification process requires the student to submit tax transcripts/tax returns, W-2s, and other family and income information. Staff then reviews the submitted documents and completes the verification process using Regent's ISIR verification wizard. Once students have been verified, if ISIR corrections are needed, the Export ISIR Corrections process must be executed to send any corrected ISIR data to FPS (FAFSA Processing System.)
