Report Description

This report provides a listing of students with overawards in overlapping periods. Currently, in Regent Award, when a program change occurs that is not-substantially equal, Regent Award truncates the student's loan period at the end of the first program, and creates a new loan period and academic year for the new program. There are very specific eligibility rules for this situation, and in many cases, Regent Award is over-awarding the student.

Display a student on this report ONLY if:
the student has been awarded Direct Subsidized Loan in excess of the annual loan limit amount for that student
the student has been awarded (Direct Subsidized Loan + Direct Unsubsidized Loan) in excess of the annual combined loan limit amount for that student
Display one row per overlapping period

• Loan Period Start Date (for the loan period that overlaps the first AY)
• Loan Period End Date (for the loan period that overlaps the first AY)
• DL Subsidized Amount (Populate a column with the sub amount IF the "sub check" (see above) exceeds the annual loan limit for the grade level and dependency status)
• Combined DL Amount (Populate a column with the sub+unsub amount IF the "sub+unsub check" (see above) exceeds the annual loan limit for the grade level and dependency status.)
• Student is Active?
