External Resources (Estimated Financial Aid)

Students may be receiving resources such as employer assistance or scholarships which are not disbursed through the system. The Department of Education refers to this as estimated financial aid (EFA) It is important that these be recorded in the system so that the student does not receive finds in excess of their need or cost of attendance. Schools can obtain a file of these resources from their student AR system to upload into the system or these resources can be manually posted.
