SAIG Mailbox Integration
Schools wanting to use the Regent Award SAIG Mailbox functionality must submit a Customer Zone ticket in order for Regent to complete the back end setup required on each customer instance. This must be completed prior to setting up the SAIG Mailbox via the SAIG Credentials screen.
Disclaimer
- Regent installs TD Client software provided by the Department of Education on Regent servers for client access in support of file transfer automation to/from the school’s main SAIG mailbox.
- Institutions electing to use this option will be responsible for the maintenance of their SAIG credentials in the screen provided for this purpose – passwords will be encrypted.
- Institutions will have sole authority to manage the timing and content of file creation and transmission – the User determines what data is sent to SAIG via scheduled or manual export of data from the institution’s Regent database.
- Regent does not interface with the institution’s SAIG mailbox but utilizes the TD Client software to support of file transactions.
- Institutional users will still be able to log into the SAIG mailbox by other means.
