SAIG Credentials Screen

Overview

The SAIG Credential screen allows schools to set up their SAIG mailbox accounts within Regent Award for the transmittal of files to and from Regent Award and their SAIG and FTI-SAIG Mailbox.  This screen is accessible from the "Processes" Menu in Regent Award if the user has permissions to access it.  The screen allows the school to configure specific Regent Award processes to transmit to SAIG.  (Note:  When a school's Production data is copied to a QA instance, and the configured SAIG Network is "SAIGPORTAL" (Production), SAIG processing will not be allowed on the QA instance.  This error will be logged: SAIG functionality is not permitted in the current QA environment where an active SAIG account is configured to use the Production SAIG Mailbox (App Id:xxx))

  1. Regent Award allows only one active SAIG mailbox, and for 2024-2025 forward, only one active FTI SAIG mailbox, to be in use at a time.
  2. This screen allows users with permission to reset the school's SAIG Credentials with SAIG, as well save credentials in Regent Award that were reset outside of the system (using another tool or directly with SAIG)
  3. This screen displays a grid at the top of the screen, very similar to other configuration screens, that provides a list of a SAIG Mailbox accounts set up in Regent Award, by the school.

Reset Credentials at SAIG

Button to reset the credentials on the SAIG Mailbox.  This method can be used to reset the password prior to password expiration.  If the password has already expired, the school’s Destination Point Administrator (DPA) or secondary DPA must call FPS/SAIG Technical Support at 800/330-5947 with their TG number to get the password reset.

Some schools will not want to use this feature if they plan to maintain their current SAIG Mailbox tool.

The school's TG account password must be reset every 90 days.

Schools could reset their password outside of Regent Award and use the UI feature "Save SAIG Credential in Regent" to re-sync the password in Regent Award.

When this button is clicked, (in edit mode) Regent Award will first SAVE the data entered on the form and then perform the action associated with the button.
