Active Student Indicator

The active student indicator is defaulted to active for all student records in the system. The flag can be changed to inactive via the SBL information file to show that the student is no longer actively enrolled at an institution. If this flag is set to inactive, it will:

• Cause a message to be displayed in the student record in the system to indicate that the student is inactive.
• Hide the student's tasks from the task queues; un-assigns the tasks from the FA end user who may have been assigned the task to work.
• Prevent the student from being included in bulk communications.
• Option to exclude inactive students from reports.
• Prevent the student from being processed through the batch packaging progress.
