Academic Plan Tab

Overview

The Academic Plan tab provides a multi-year view of the student's awards based upon the students anticipated and/or actual enrollment and academic program of study. From this tab, you can modify the student's academic plan, add student-specific breaks (LOAs), and adjust the loan periods based upon transfer information, if you have the permission to do so. The three numbers after the Loan name are the last three digits of the COD financial award ID for that loan.

Auto-withdrawn Payment Periods/Terms

Auto-withdrawn terms that have an award amount > 0 regardless if none of the awards are paid, will display an "AW" () icon next to the Term or Payment Period name. The icon indicates that a Term has been Auto-withdrawn due to lack of enrollment by the time the Term's auto-withdrawal date has been reached.  If there are no awards > $0 for the Term, the Term is hidden from the UI and does not display at all on the Academic Plan tab. By default, Regent Award displays auto-withdrawn terms as a "collapsed" view (the end user can expand this section to view the Term) except when there are paid disbursements in the Term. When there are paid disbursements, Regent Award defaults to displaying the auto-withdrawn terms as an "expanded" view.

Payment Periods Closed by 180 Day Gap in Enrollment

Payment Periods considered to be closed due to a student not attending for 180 days or more will display with a "180" () icon next to the Payment Period name. The icon indicates that a Payment Period has been closed due to no attendance posted for a student in 180 days.

Historic Terms/Payment Periods

Payment Periods and Terms that are considered "Historic" will display an "H" () icon next to the Payment Period/Term name. The most common use of a Historic Payment Period is to represent part of an Academic Year when the student does not have an active program. The historic Payment Period helps keep the Academic Year the correct length.

Non-BBAY Terms

Terms that are not included in a BBAY will display a "Non-BBAY" () icon next to the Term name. The icon indicates the Term did not meet the requirements to anchor a BBAY because Direct Loans are not greater than $0 for the term. Note: This icon only displays for Non-BBAY terms when the BBAY Anchor Determination field is configured with "Direct Loans Greater Than $0 under Institution, Campus, and Term Setup.  See Anchoring a BBAY: Direct Loans Greater Than $0
