Activity Tab
The Activity tab on a student's record is used to keep track of all interactions with the student. It is also used by the system to log the results of all processes performed by the users and/or the system. Regent Award maintains a log of activity at the bottom of this tab. This includes actions taken by the users and actions taken by the system itself. Information is displayed in reverse chronological order with the most recent information at the top.
You can add a note or remarks for any of the items in the activity log by clicking on the row in the Remarks/Notes column for the item that you want to add the information to.
On this tab, you can keep a record of appointments, visits, phone calls, and other contacts with the student. You can also add notes to the activity log. The records you create are searchable on this tab, as well.
You can also use this tab to communicate with students via templated emails or letters. When you add a letter or email, the system inserts the appropriate information into the template and creates/sends the letter and/or email to the student. The templates for letters and emails can be added and configured through the Communications portion of the Administration bar.
