Modify Academic Plan Wizard (MAP)

Preconditions

• Student data is loaded into Regent Award

• Student does not have any packaging blockers (i.e., no blocking Documents or Tasks that restrict packaging)

Basic Flow

1. User navigates to the student’s Academic Plan

2. Selects Modify Academic Plan

   Open

   

3. Selects Basic Packaging
   
   

   Open

   

4. Reviews Academic Plan preview and packaged awards

5. Clicks Finish

6. Clicks Refresh

Post-Conditions

• Eligible students with no packaging restrictions will have an Academic Plan created or updated and Cost of Attendance calculated.

• Students are packaged with funds configured to be auto-packaged.

Alternative Flow - MAP with Alternative Packaging Philosophy

Preconditions

• Institution is configured with multiple Packaging Philosophies

  • For example, schools might have two separate Packaging Philosophies, one for “Direct Costs” and another Packaging Philosophy for “Maximum Eligibility”

Basic Flow

1. User navigates to the student’s Academic Plan and accesses the Modify Academic Plan (MAP) wizard.

    

2. Selects the Packaging Philosophy Override dropdown

3. Chooses the applicable configured packaging philosophy

4. Selects Basic Packaging
   
   

5. Reviews updated packaged funds in Academic Plan Preview

6. Clicks Finish

7. Clicks Refresh

Post-conditions

• Eligible students with no program/course and no document or task packaging restrictions will have an Academic Plan created or updated and Cost of Attendance calculated.

• Students are packaged with funds configured to be auto-packaged.

  • Funds are packaged using the chosen Packaging Philosophy (e.g. to Direct Costs only, or to 100% of COA).
