5.1 Adding a Task Queue
Actors
User with appropriate permissions

Pre-condition
(The planning process when adding a new or updating existing Task and Task Queue Setup and documenting other configuration areas that need to be updated)
Task Queue does not exist
Task Queue is added to the Task_Setup_Template
Basic Flow
The user creates a Customer Zone (CZ) ticket requesting Regent to copy the Production data to the QA environment.
Regent Account Manager updates CZ ticket once the restore is completed.
The user adds the Task Queue in the QA environment:
Navigates to Administration
Clicks on Task Management
Clicks on Queue Setup
Clicks on the “Add Queue Setup” button
Enters the name of the Task Queue
Clicks “Save.”
After the Task Queue has been added, the user performs the following steps:
Clicks on Administration.
Clicks on [Client] (the Enterprise level.)
Clicks on the Reload RNA Setup button.
NOTE: After making changes to ANY section of the configuration setup, clicking on the Reload RNA Setup button will apply and activate the changes in the system.
The user validates the updated information in QA.
Once the user validates the configuration and ensures accuracy, the user will make the same changes in Production.
Post-conditions
The Task Queue is added to Regent Award.
Alternative Flow
User selects ‘Edit’ on an existing Task Queue.
5.2 Adding a Task

Task Queue is created
Basic Flow
The user creates a Customer Zone (CZ) ticket requesting Regent to copy the Production data to the QA environment.
Regent Account Manager updates CZ ticket once the restore is completed.
The user adds the Task in the QA environment:
Navigates to Administration.
Clicks on Task Management.
Clicks on Task Setup.
Clicks on the “Add Task Setup” button.
On the General tab, enters all new fields from the [Client] Task_Setup_Template.
Note: The user can only choose from the “Task Type (s)” that are pre-configured in Regent Award. If the user would like to add a new “Task Type”, this must be requested as an enhancement via a CZ ticket.
Clicks “Save.”
Additional step for Tasks that are triggered by Documents:
User navigates back to the newly created task in the Task Setup grid and filters on “Task Type.”Clicks on the Document Setup tab.
Clicks “Edit.”
Chooses “Add Task Trigger.”
Clicks on the pencil icon to edit the “Document Use Type(s)”.
Can select “Apply to All Scopes” or clicks on the pencil icon to edit the “FAY Scope Value(s) or clicks on the “Include Student Scope” check box.
Clicks on the pencil icon to update the “Selected Status(es).”
Clicks “Save.”
Navigates to the Restrict Process Setup tab:
Clicks “Edit.”
Adds all restrictions that apply.
Clicks “Save.”
Note: The Triggering Funds Tab is only enabled for the "Review Overaward with Unpaid Disbursements" task. The user is presented with the option to select all funds or specific funds that will trigger the task to populate for a student record during the packaging process. For full task requirements, please see Regent Award Task Triggers.
After the Task has been added, the user performs the following steps:
Clicks on Administration.
Clicks on [Client] (the Enterprise level.)
